In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an special katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Newest Free Story Addition
